Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve & New Hope

The event was held on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Note Date Change from Thurs, Apr 17 to Friday, April 18!!! Last minute change due to the Wildlife preserve closing to deal with invasive species. Our trip to Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve and New Hope is coming up soon - Thursday, April 17th.  We plan to have two carpool locations again. One leaving from the Giant lot across from Panera on Swedesford Road in Exton. Look for the tripod on the roof of my car. The other will leave from the lot in front of Two Stoned Pub at 49 Jenners Village in West Grove. Both carpools will leave at 8:15 am. If you plan to drive on your own, meet us at the Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve entrance at 10:00am.

The plan is to spend a couple of hours walking the trails and photographing the early wildflowers. Around noon, we will return to the cars and take the 5 minute drive upriver to New Hope. We can practice our street photography, and enjoy lunch at one of the many bistros. There are always some new images to be had in this funky little town along the Delaware River. Stick around as long as you like.

If you haven’t let me know that you will be joining us, please do. I’ll need to know if you are going to carpool and which one you will be in. Also, let me know if you will drive on your own and meet us at Bowman’s Hill at 10:00am.  There are some special instructions that I will share regarding finding the entrance to Bowmans Hill, bringing a picnic lunch, and parking in New Hope that I will send to all that let me know they are going.
