The event will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Members Only Event!! It’s back by popular demand! We are going once again to the Auto and Airplane Graveyard in Atco, New Jersey on Saturday, April 11th. We will have our run of the place from 2PM to 6PM to create some great images. If you are like most photographers, and you love junked cars, trucks, buses, military vehicles, helicopters, planes, machinery and rusty stuff in general, this is a trip you won’t want to miss. Access to the Graveyard is not open to the public, but Richard Lewis (one of our favorite CCCC judges) has once again managed to get a limited number of us in for a shoot. Professional photographer Richard Lewis will also be available to show us around and answer any photo questions we may have. If the place looks familiar, you may recognize it from the Amazon series “Fallout”
The club went there four years ago, and we had so many members going that we had to run a second trip. If you are interested in some of what you can see, check out the CCCC Gallery from that outing here.
The normal charge is $100 per person, but Richard Lewis has managed to get that down to $75 for us. We will be limited to 25 members going so you don’t want to wait too long to get registered. A special sign up form is available only to CCCC members by clicking on his website here. Once you have registered, please email Jim Wilson and let him know.
Richard has offered a Zoom meeting on March 30th as an introduction to the location so you will have a good idea of what to expect.
More details including carpools will be coming as we get closer to the date of our trip. I hope to see a bunch of you there. Betsy and Jim have been there four times, and we are so looking forward to going again.
