From traditional to whimsical, everyone will have the opportunity to photograph still life set-ups and practice composition and lighting to make wonderful images. Join us for a fun hands-on workshop about everything still life. Program leaders Betsy Wilson, Carol DeGuiseppi and Ginia Apostolacus will start with a short presentation covering the basics of how to set-up and photograph your still life, along with some inspirational examples to get the creative juices flowing. Everyone can experiment with creating your own still lifes using a wide variety of table-top items to arrange and light as you wish. Space is limited, so be sure to register early!

Carol DeGuiseppi is an accomplished flower and nature photographer, and is regularly featured on Longwood Gardens’ social media sites. She also enjoys photographing architectural and abstract elements.

Ginia Apostolacus is a former Product Photographer at a local auction company. She also freelances as a real estate photographer and portrait photographer.

Betsy Wilson has specialized in still life photography, and has given numerous presentations on the subject to camera clubs in multiple states.
