The event was held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM.

 With another outing, this time at Laurel Hill Cemetery, over and done with, we are looking forward to our next trip. This one is on Saturday,  November 8th, to the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Ships are always coming and going, so you never know what you will find on an excursion to the “Yard”. Luckily, there is always something else to photograph. With the Urban Outfitters offices there, you can often find some rather artsy windows to expend some pixels on. With all of the new office buildings there and many old brick structures, architectural photography is a great option. From shiny new buildings to abandoned ones, it’s a fun place to explore. The shots rarely jump out at you here, but there are a lot of great ones if you are willing to really see.

Join us from 1:30 to 4:00PM. With sunset at 4:50 we can get some late afternoon light before the yard closes at sunset. We have two carpools again from Exton and West Grove. Both will be leaving at 12:30.  The Exton group will meet in the Giant parking lot at 141 Swedesford Rd, Exton. We will be in the aisle closest to the Panera on Swedesford. The West Grove group will meet in the Two Stones Pub lot at 49 Jenners Village, West Grove. Let me know  if you will be joining us and if you plan to carpool. Feel free to ask me any questions.
