A Tale of Two Harbors: Annapolis and Baltimore

Photo

The event will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

The 2025 Camera Club bus trip will take us to three picturesque and historic American waterfront locations: the grounds of the US Naval Academy at Annapolis Maryland, the beautiful seaside harbor town of Annapolis itself and the inner harbor at Baltimore.

Our Krapf’s motor coach will pick us up (7:15 am sharp) at Westminster Presbyterian Church in West Chester and take us direct to Annapolis where we’ll get off at the US Naval Academy visitors center. A private tour has been arranged of the grounds, where we’ll visit many of the historic buildings, monuments, drill yards, the Chapel and the crypt of John Paul Jones. After the tour, we’ll be on our own for lunch; there are dining options in the USNA or in the town. Afterwards, explore Annapolis on your own where photographic opportunities present themselves at every turn. We’ll reboard the bus at 3:30 pm for a trip to the inner harbor of Baltimore, where we’ll spend an hour or two photographing this restored and vibrant inner-city location. Ships at anchor here include the USS Constellation, the Lightship Chesapeake and a WWII-era submarine. At 6:00 pm we’ll reboard for the trip back to West Chester, arriving about 8:00 pm.

The fee for this event is $110 per person and you are welcome to register guests.
