 Join Betsy and Jim Wilson as we experiment creating unique textures b
 y "melting" National Geographic magazines. As colorful inks dissolve,
  new and unusual textures are born that can then be incorporated in y
 our photographs for a special artistic look. And you will have the op
 portunity to try out Scanography - using a flatbed scanner to create 
 artfully arranged super high-resolution images. The workshop will inc
 lude some basic photoshop instruction on using layers, which will ena
 ble you to blend textures with images you already have, or with image
 s created using scanography. All participants will leave with some ne
 wly created texture pages, and a National Geographic magazine that ca
 n be used at home to create even more.\n
