DESCRIPTION:The WWII Weekend in Reading offers incredible photographic
  opportunities—from vintage warbirds in flight and on the groun
 d, to authentic reenactors in period uniforms, military vehicles, and
  immersive 1940s-era scenes. The combination of action, portrait, and
  storytelling images makes this one of the most dynamic events of the
  year.\n
 Plan to arrive at 10am, and we will make a day of it. We gather for l
 unch together around 12:30. While there are food vendors on site, lin
 es can be long, so bringing a simple sandwich or light picnic lunch i
 s recommended (small cooler bags are permitted). Jim and Betsy will t
 ext the group with a meet-up spot once we are on site.\n
 Tripods are permitted, but due to the crowds and the fast-paced natur
 e of the event, they are generally not recommended. Most photography 
 is best done handheld so you can move easily and be ready to capture 
 spontaneous moments as they unfold. \n
 Admission:\n
 Approximately $46.46 for adults. Tickets may be purchased online in a
 dvance (which is recommended), or at the gate.\n
 What to bring:\n
 Camera gear, comfortable walking shoes, water, sun protection (hat/su
 nscreen), and a packed lunch or snacks. \n
 Carpool information will be shared as we get closer to the event. If 
 you drive on your own, Follow the posted signs on US 222/ RT 183 &nda
 sh; Reading Airport Exit. Main Event Parking is at the Reading Fairgr
 ounds, 1216 Hilltop Rd, Leesport Pa 19533. Shuttle buses take attende
 es to the event.\n
